Who Is Billy James?

Over thirty years ago, Billy James was keyboardist, arranger and leader of the Billy James Combo and then Timepiece, premier lounge bands in the New York-Boston area, entertaining nite club audiences with music of the swinging 40's, doo-wop 50's, groovy 60's, and funky 70's. Billy's very first DJ job was a sock hop for 600 students in the gym of his Connecticut high school while a sophomore there in the early 60's.

While a student at Boston College, Billy received an award for writing the original music and lyrics for a Broadway-type musical and then arranging the score for a 16 piece orchestra. Today, DJ Billy James is the premier Phoenix DJ for weddings and parties because he's been there and done that many times before, and he'll do it again at your event. As a musician and DJ with a first-hand knowledge of music that spans six decades, Billy has the talent and experience to please guests of all ages.
